We won’t focus narrowly on “fixing” your ADHD but on improving your overall quality of your life.
A key component in our work together is helping you build a healthy lifestyle to optimize your brain, including restorative sleep, good nutrition, exercise, stress management and exposure to the natural world.
We’ll work together to create a life that feels more manageable, less overwhelming, and more aligned with who you are.
I pay close attention to your inner experience—your emotions, self-understanding, and relationships. At the same time, our work also focuses on meaningful change: in the way your life is structured so it can better support and sustain you.
...and the world won’t always adapt to our needs. But therapy shouldn’t be only about helping you meet everyone else’s expectations—whether from partners, family, work, or society. Together, we’ll look at both sides: how you can grow and adapt, and how your environment can better fit who you are.
...and while there are shared patterns, ADHD never tells the whole story. It’s also intertwined with other experiences such as anxiety, depression, trauma, learning differences, or challenges with mood, eating, or substance use. Our work will always take your full story into account.
... in ADHD. When stress rises, symptoms often intensify. That’s why one of the most effective ways to support ADHD is by reducing stress. This might involve stress management tools, simplifying your life, rethinking expectations, setting clearer boundaries, or making changes in your work or daily routines so they better align with your strengths and values.
...and it may involve problem-solving, strengthening relationships, learning ways to calm and regulate your mind, and finding ways to enjoy the process rather than feeling like you’re constantly trying to catch up.
I work with individuals, couples, parents, young adults, women across the lifespan, intellectually gifted individuals striving to achieve their goals, and older adults with ADHD who want to feel more connected and engaged in their lives.
My approach to diagnosis always involves an in-depth clinical interview. But in the process of diagnosis, we are not ticking off diagnostic “boxes,” but working to develop an in-depth understanding of you, your family history, and what brings meaning to your life.
We’ll set goals together and regularly check in to understand whether we are working toward meeting your goals through a collaborative partnership.
